The company PAGEN for the next year "A friend of UNICEF"

PAGEN Sp. z o.o. has extended its participation in the "UNICEF Friend" program. Thus the funds donated by the company will be used to support the youngest in humanitarian crises and in the poorest countries of the world. This year thanks to the support of individual and business donors, UNICEF plans to reach 177 million children in 145 countries. The priority is to support the youngest in 14 crises including Yemen, Syria, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and Congo.

PAGEN joined the "Friend of UNICEF" program in January last year. Now the company has decided to continue its participation in the program because it still - together with UNICEF - wants to support children around the world. The aid will reach the places where it is currently most needed.

A non-governmental organization is a natural ally of a company in undertaking corporate social responsibility activities. I am glad that more and more Polish manufacturers, such as PAGEN, carry out these activities, and that they are not indifferent to the fate of children. I would like to thank PAGEN for another year of supporting the world's youngest," said Sylwia Nowik-Spiczonek, Director of Fundraising at UNICEF Poland.

2021 was not a kind year for children who suffered from crises, extreme weather events and climate change beyond their control in various regions of the world. By deciding to continue our cooperation with UNICEF Poland, we are convinced that together we can build a better world in the spirit of friendship. UNICEF is one of the initiators of strategic cooperation between business and humanitarian organizations. "UNICEF Friend" is a program addressed to medium and large companies that want to help children by implementing the concept of corporate social responsibility.
