PAGEN continues cooperation with UNICEF Poland

A Polish manufacturer of windows, doors, roller shutters and garage doors has extended cooperation with UNICEF Poland in the 'Friend of UNICEF' programme. Thanks to this cooperation, the funds donated by the company will support children in humanitarian crises.

This year could be a record year for much-needed humanitarian support for children and their families. Since 2015, the number of people whose lives depend on life-saving humanitarian assistance has tripled. UNICEF brings aid to children affected by conflict, natural disasters and the climate crisis around the world. With the help of individual and business donors, by 2023 the Organisation aims to support 110 million children in 155 countries and regions.

PAGEN is one of the sponsors that has decided to continue its partnership in the 'Friend of UNICEF' programme, as it wants to actively support children around the world. However, UNICEF Poland's cooperation with PAGEN goes far beyond financial support.

The shared commitment resulted in the guide NGO and business. Partnership or unilateral benefit? which was preceded by a workshop for business representatives. The publication of the guide was also accompanied by a series of podcasts. One of the episodes featured Jacek Wach, Marketing Director of PAGEN, who talked about the benefits of social activities for business, the cooperation between business and NGOs and the challenges faced by both sides. Jacek Wach and Paweł Barski, Director of Marketing and Communications at UNICEF Poland, also took part in the Sustainability and Ethics in Marketing panel at the CMO Innovation Executive Conference.

PAGEN employees were also involved in the Children's Day celebrations. A specially prepared film entitled "Home is a Work of Life" was produced for the occasion. The company also took part in the celebration of International Children's Rights Day #WorldChildrensDay. PAGEN organised a competition for the children and grandchildren of the company's employees, "I am a child, I have the right to...", in which the youngest children prepared artwork promoting their rights.,

Katarzyna PytelLast year we saw first-hand how quickly and efficiently UNICEF responds when children's health and lives are threatened in Ukraine. In the face of the challenges of today's world, with war lapping at our borders, we must not think about whether to engage socially, but how to do so most effectively. I am glad that our cooperation is growing year by year and that our teams are achieving synergy effects," said Katarzyna Chamioło - Proxy of PAGEN Sp. z o.o., who coordinates projects of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Sylwia Nowik UNICEFI am happy that with partners like PAGEN we inspire each other in projects that aim to save children's lives. With every joint action or campaign, we appreciate the commitment and trust we have in each other. Together, we strive for a world where we open up opportunities for every child. It is the common goal and the same course of action that provide a strong foundation for real help. We are delighted that PAGEN is one of the key "elements" of these foundations," said Sylwia Nowik -Spiczonek - Director of Fundraising at UNICEF Poland.
